The Care to Give Council

Advancing the quality of healthcare in our community and providing services to those who possess the greatest need.

What is the Care to Give Council?

Since its establishment in 1929, The Care to Give Council of Riverview Medical Center and Bayshore Community Hospital has raised over $1 million in support of the following areas through donations, profits from its gift shops, and signature events such as Party for Pink: The Jane H. Booker Women’s Center, Life Changing Campaign for Surgical Excellence and Paint the Town Pink’s Pink Fund. The mission of the Council is to better serve our community by raising awareness and enhancing the services we provide.

This year’s REASON TO PARTY was the amazing, yet natural, evolution of Party for Pink. Over the past five years, The Care to Give Council’s Party for Pink became a fun, memorable, and highly successful event that benefited the Pink Fund. It was so successful in fact, that many event guests approached the Council about the possibility of creating an event, in the same spirit, to raise awareness and garner support for other causes and care services. This request spoke directly to the heart of the mission and hope of our Council, and REASON TO PARTY was born. One event. Many reasons.
